Willa Ree Redding Tomlinson
February 26, 1936 - September 28, 2012
Savannah- Willa Ree Redding Tomlinson, 76, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at Hospice House.
She was born in Twin City, Georgia where she lived until the age of 18. She retired as a sales associate with the Walmart Pharmacy in Swainsboro before moving to the Savannah and Guyton areas. Preceding her in death are her sister, Jeanette Seckinger, and brother, William Redding.
Survivors include her daughters and their husbands, Donna and Alan Sharpe of Guyton, Debra and William Watson of Savannah; son and his wife, John and Tracie Tomlinson, Jr. of Pooler; sisters, Barbara Meeks of Swainsboro, Katie Railey Hugh of Dothan, AL; brother-n-law, Lannie Seckinger of Twin City; grandchildren, Drew Odom, Brooks Watson, Dylan Watson, all of Savannah, and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2012 at Twin City United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Railey, Chris Railey, Matthew Odom, Murray Morris, Kenny Meeks, and Brooks Watson. Burial will follow at the Twin City City Cemetery.
